May 11th: In the morning, I will check out of Hotel Accademia, before catching a train to Milan. I will spend an hour or two in Milan while grabbing lunch, before heading to the Milano Malpensa Airport for my 2:25PM flight to Bucharest, Romania operated by British Airways. The flight will take around 9.5 hours, as I have a 3-hour layover in London Heathrow Airport before arriving in Bucharest at 11:50PM. I will spend the night at the Hilton Garden Inn at the Bucharest airport.


Climate: May in Milan is very similar to May in Verona. The temperatures range from low 50s to low 70s Fahrenheit. The humidity is the same as Verona, and the chance of rain averages 35%.


Culture: Milanese culture centers around creativity; social and economic developments flourish as new ideas and opportunities are promoted each year. Recently, Milan has adopted more inclusiveand open political policies, which makes it a much more accessible and safe destination for all tourists and residents. With a total population of over 1.3 million people, with a large amount of immigrantsmoving to the city. There are over 90 museums, almost 80 art galleries, over 100 movie theatres, and over 50 concert halls and stage theatres within Milan and its surrounding area. The fine arts define a lot of Milan's culture and creativity efforts.
