Culture: Brasov and Bran, being so close to each other, have very similar cultures. Like Bucharest, they are quite homogenous, with roughly 91% of inhabitants being ethnic Romanians. Minority groups include Hungarians, Germans, the Romani people, and some other undisclosed ethnicities. In terms of tourism, the area is well known for Transylvania, as well as the mountainous terrains where ski resorts are situated. Brasov benefits quite a lot from the winter season, when European and foreign tourists come to stay at the ski lodges are enjoy their amenities.
